Supervision for Associate Therapists (APCC, AMFT, ASW)
Individual Professional Consultation
I provide one-on-one professional consultation services for clinicians in a safe, non-judgmental environment that focuses on the particular needs of a therapist. Clinical consultation can help with case conceptualization, using therapy interventions, countertransference, setting boundaries, ethical issues, and more.
I also have experience with providing consultation for therapists who are "wounded healers," who are experiencing secondary exposure or vicarious trauma while treating clients with trauma, who have been harmed by a client, and who are under investigation by a licensing board.
Peer Consultation Groups
I facilitate multiple peer consultation groups for clinicians. These groups discuss how to approach complex cases, ethical dilemmas, countertransference, therapy interventions, and navigating the challenges of this career. Consultation groups are a helpful way to improve therapists' therapeutic effectiveness, provide clinical assistance, and counter isolation and burnout.
Both groups are currently full. If you would like to be added to my waitlist, email me at Corinne.Eisenhardt@gmail.com.
Individual Therapy for Therapists
I love providing therapy to other therapists. Some therapists may feel intimidated by this type of dynamic, but I find it both challenging and rewarding! Many therapists already have good insight into their own lives and have an enhanced ability to be introspective. I love collaborating with other therapists and providing my outside perspective to help them better understand themselves and how they interact with the world.
I find that therapy for therapists is not only a good support for the difficult work that we do, but it can also help therapists do better work with their own clients. Therapists are often "wounded healers" who have their own experiences with pain and suffering. Therefore, it is crucial that therapists can completely understand their own pain and find enough healing that their "baggage" doesn't come up in sessions or affect the work that they do with their clients. I also find it incredibly helpful and important for therapists to experience what it feels like to be in the "client chair." This provides a therapist with more empathy and understanding for what clients experience during the therapy process.
Private Practice Business Coaching
I provide private practice business coaching for therapists looking to start their own practice. I provide guidance and support on various topics, including marketing, business development, financial management, and time management. I can help you develop a business plan and marketing strategy, provide guidance on pricing and setting fees, help you create systems and processes to streamline your operations and help you avoid common mistakes that can derail your success.
